In a covalent bond, the shared electrons create a stable, unified molecule that is stronger and more functional than its individual parts. Similarly, in interdisciplinary collaboration, the shared knowledge, methods, and perspectives form a cohesive, innovative design solution that no single discipline could achieve alone. This bond relies on mutual contribution, trust, and balance, where each participant retains their identity while actively shaping and being shaped by the collective outcome—resulting in a design that is both diverse and integrated.
